Oluchi Edmund is a gospel musician from Nigeria. She is born to teacher parents of a good Christian background and started singing in church choir at the age of nine. She was born in the late 70s to the family of Late Mr. Edmund Jim and Mrs. Victoria Jim in Ezinihitte Mbaises LGA of Imo state. She studied Industrial Chemistry and acquired a Bachelors’ Degree from Imo state University Owerri. She left Chemistry for the love of music.

In 2005, she released a Single titled “African Woman” which was widely accepted. In 2008, she released “Say Amen”, an album which sold only in her then Church. In 2010, she released a single “Children of Africa”. In 2012, she released another single, “Glory, glory, Halleluiah”. 2013, she released another single, “Singing to the Lord”. In 2016, she released an EP “Blessed Is He”. In 2017, she released another EP, “Rock of my Refuge”. Some of the songs in “Blessed Is He” are also included in “Rock of My Refuge”. She was the music director of “This Gospel House” church situated in Owerri, Imo state. She was the winner of Crossing Borders music contest for African female musicians and is currently living in Chicago. Released I Di Mma and Ere in 2018 and 2019 respectively. She has been an Independent artiste though signed one record deal that failed. Oluchi Edmund, a worship leader, an Inspirational singer, a song writer, a servant of The Most High God, moving to greater heights in ministry with songs that are divinely birthed.
